We've all missed the joy of watching the biggest live poker tournaments this time of the year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the poker community still has some exciting events on the horizon! Not only is the World Poker Tour set to host a $5,000 event at the Venetian in Las Vegas later this week, two intriguing heads-up challenges are days away from kicking off.
Couple of months ago, the Heads-Up Challenge between Daniel Negreanu and Doug Polk took the poker world by storm and everyone was really interested in witnessing two great players go toe-to-toe against one another. Doug Polk ended up tearing DNegs apart but it was a decent contest nonetheless.
Taking the same lines, we have another two massive Heads-Up challenges lined up for the month of March!
- Doug Polk played heads-up against Bill Perkins, among others, including a No Limit Hold'em heads-up session with poker vlogger Matt Vaughn on Americas Cardroom. The game $2/$4 No-Limit Hold'em, low stakes by Doug Polk standards and much lower than what he will ultimately play against Negreanu.

Whoever came out looking the best from the rules negotiations, both players had done their job in talking up their chances. The fans were hungry to see this. In the modern internet age we have so many quality options for viewing the match with commentary. It's as if the internet was made for this kind of thing.
